Petros 
Koutsopanagos

Petros Koutsopanagos hails from the City of Chicago and now lives in Bolingbrook, Il.  He attended college at SIU-C where he studied Aviation Management and Aviation Flight. He then went on to become a Pilot and an Air Traffic Controller. Petros continued school at SIU-C and studied Criminal Justice/ Law Enforcement. Petros then attended Robert Morris and Roosevelt University for a Masters in Public Administration and Masters in Business Administration with a concentration Human Resources. Petros was then sent for specialized training in Criminal justice and Interrogation and Gang Intelligence and later became a Certified Protection Professional.

 

He has worked many jobs over the years such as:

• 28 years in Law Enforcement

• 18 years Security and Customer Service at Wrigley Field with the Chicago Cubs

• 10+ years Security and Customer service at  Soldiers Field with the Chicago Bears

• A security professional for concerts, events, celebrities and high name dignitaries

 

Petros chose the Employee benefits field to try something new, “I was bored during covid and I chose to try it. I began to like it and realized it exercises and releases many skills you never knew you had! Plus the staff is like family everyone supports your endeavors.” In the next 10 years Petros plans on getting his PHD in Organizational leadership to become a professor at a University. Petros also enjoys being active in his community. He is Commissioner in his Village, an active member of First Responder support groups and charities. Strong supporter of Special Olympics, Law Enforcement Torch Run, and helps teens transition from life of crime in streets to a life of positivity.

Petros enjoys family time, working out, relaxing beside the pool in his spare time and interacting with the many municipalities and businesses and the families within he serves.
